- Micronization Contract Services in 2 separate fully cGMP buildings utilizing 4 opposed and 21 spiral jet mills systems, most of them highly contained in flexible and rigid isolators down to OEL < 1 µg/m3 and all of them engineered in-house.
- Own designed micronization systems , both spiral and opposed jet mills, that have been developed since the company inception in 1970 and sold worldwide to more than 300 satisfied customers.
- In the past 15 years a range of glove-box isolators for a large variety of sterile and high containment applications have been developed for internal use and have been sold to the international pharmaceutical market.
- A new range of powder vacuum transfer systems coupled with flexible isolators and a drum docking system for OEL < 1 µg/m3 has been developed in the past years, are daily used in-house on a couple of micronization booth and are being sold internationally.

History & Project:
Micro-Macinazione SA was established in 1970, as an engineering company for jet-mill technology development.
In 1975, the first factory for custom micronization services was built, in Monteggio and in 1999 we started the activity on a second factory in Madonna del Piano, built following the highest current GMP state of the art and under surpevision of the Swiss Autority (Swissmedic) and the US Food and Drug Administration (FDA).
Now Micro-Macinazione SA is the european micronization leader of bulk active ingredients for the pharmaceutical industry.
Micro-Macinazione works closely with the foremost multinational pharmaceutical industries, taking an active part from the early development stages of a new project through to, and including, industrial production. |
