Product Description

Rotating Disc Extractors:

 
This mechanically agitated continuous extractor gives excellent performance over conventional batch kettles. It saves use of solvent, power and manpower.
 
How they work :
The continuous liquid-liquid extractor (Rotating Disc Extractor) consists of a vertical stack of mixers and settlers. The settling zone is at one end of the mixing zone. It is protected by a vertical baffle. Each mixing section is provided with an agitator. The counter current flow is achieved by introducing the heavy phase at the top and the light phase at the bottom of the column. One of the phases is continuous while the other is dispersed. As the two phases pass in the opposite directions, they are subjected to repeated mixing and settling at each stage. The extract and raffinate flows out through respective nozzles.
 
The extraction of the desired component takes place in the mixing zone where the agitator promotes uniform droplet formation and dispersion. The repeated mixing and settling at each stage creates an extraction capability that is equivalent of several washings in a batch kettle.

Annular Centrifugal Extractors:

This extractor with high speed spinning basket, is an excellent tool for the extraction having phases with a narrow density difference.
 
How they work :
It has a rotor basket spinning at high speed in a cylindrical shell. This promotes intense mixing of two phases in the annular space formed between stationary shell and rotating basket where the two immiscible liquids reach equilibrium. When the mixture enters the inner volume of the rotating basket, the high centrifugal force separates the two phases. Heavy and light phases are discharged from different outlets.

Our emphasis is on single point solution to the customers starting from lab scale study, pilot plant trials, scale-up, mechanical and process design, manufacturing, project execution, erection, commissioning and after sales services.
 
The supply can be in the form of bare equipment or as a skid unit i.e. with equipment, piping, structural frame and instrumentation. The skids are pre-erected at our factory for inspection before dispatch.
 

Our shops meet requirement under ASME `U stamp, European PED `CE mark` and China Special Equipment Manufacturing License. In-house facilities of manufacturing and testing ensures quality and reliable delivery.
