Product Description

Spray Dryers:


Spray dryers consists of a large cylindrical & usually vertical chamber in which material to be dried is, in the form of small droplets and fed a large volume of hot air sufficient to supply the heat, necessary to complete evaporation of liquid.
Spray drying process is applicable to a wide range of products and industries.
Shachi handles the project ranging from laboratory size to large industrial spray dryer processing lines an plants.

Design Consideration:

Co-current type : Feed and hot air enters from same side. Feed is from rotary atomiser and nozzle
Counter current : Feed is from top side and hot air from bottom side. Feed is from rotary atomiser and 
                            nozzle
Co counter type : Feed is from bottom side and hot air is from top (Fountain) side. Feed atomisation is through
                             pressure nozzle or two fluid nozzles.
