Product Description

Spray Dryer:

  • SSP Spray Dryers are relatively simple in operation which accept feed in fluid state and convert it into a dried particulate form by atomizing the fluid into a hot drying medium.
  • Atomization is done using high pressure nozzle, high pressure air, two fluid nozzles or centrifugal disc atomizer.
  • The heating of drying air can be through steam radiator or thermic fluid air heater according to the service conditions available.
  • Direct or indirect fired hot air generator through oil or gas according to fuel availability with client.
  • The unique Fines Re-circulation System produces highest quality of agglomerated powder.
  • Apart from that it also offers spray nozzle, atomizer, diversion valve, blow through valve, ss pipes & fittings

HISTORY:
 
The story of SSP began on 29th August 1977. At the time of inception SSP started manufacturing S.S.Pipes & fittings for dairy industry & then started manufacturing dairy equipments like S.S. tanks, silos, ghee boiler, butter churner etc. However SSP got an opportunity to expand the existing evaporators & spray dryers in 1980. 

In the year 1982, the first production Unit of SSP PVT LIMITED was established . Since then, SSP successfully expanded the existing evaporator & Dryer capacity in more than 40 plants including Amul Dairy at Anand. During this period SSP developed indigenous falling film evaporators & spray dryers for dairy Industry. 
 
In the year 1987, R & D centre was established & it got recognized by DSIR (Ministry of Science & Technology, Govt. of India) & started designing new Evaporators & Dryers with better energy efficiency rate.

Thus Evaporator & Spray Dryer became the core competency of SSP, supported by the relentless work of our R & D personnel to improve the existing system .

With its core competency on evaporation & drying technology, SSP had mastered the technical expertise that enabled it to offer diverse food, fruit & Dairy processing projects on turnkey basis, catering to a wide range of industries Which include salt processing plant - both vacuum & mechanical type, plants for processing milk, milk powder (WMP & SMP), sweetened condensed milk, coffee creamer, baby food formulation, instant tea/coffee powder , egg powder, malt extract, fruit processing, fruit juice concentrate & powder, Tomato Paste, Ketchup, Puree, vegetable dehydration, and starch & starch derivatives, among others.

In 1994, SSP started its 2nd production unit at Butibori, Nagpur to meet the demand of its equipments . In the year 1995, SSP for the first time exported an Evaporator for milk concentrate to Cyprus. Looking at the demand of the export market, SSP established an 100% export oriented manufacturing facility at National Export Processing Zone (NEPZ), Noida, in the year 2004.

In the span of 32 years, “SSP” had exported its projects to African region, Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) region, Latin American region, European and American region, South Asian Association for Regional Cooperation (SAARC) region, South East Asian region and Middle East region. SSP has exported number of plants to the following countries, USA, Canada, Mexico, Iran, Saudi Arabia, Tanzania, Nigeria, Qatar, Russia, Ukraine, Pakistan, Uzbekistan, Bangladesh, Cyprus, Denmark, Uganda, Chad, Malaysia, Philippines and South Africa. It has an International Agent Network across the world. 

During the year 1997, SSP PVT LIMITED, took the challenge to develop distillery effluent treatment systems for reducing industrial effluent, which constitutes very high BOD, COD & TDS level. It took a year to develop a Zero Liquid Discharge Effluent Treatment System by which the Effluent can be treated & can be converted into a Zero Liquid Level, as per the Pollution Control Board norms, The condensate water recovered after treatment can be reused in the process & spray dried powder can be used as fertilizer. 

In the year 1998, SSP for the first time supplied an Zero Liquid Discharge Effluent Treatment Plant for treating pharmaceutical effluent . It was a pioneering effort. 

There after SSP started manufacturing & supplying Zero Liquid Discharge Effluent Treatment Plant to various industries, which include Distilleries, Textile Dyeing Industries, Chemical Industries, Paper Industries, Tannery Industries, Pharmaceutical industries & Dye & Dye intermediaries Industry.

Due to the increasing market demand, SSP PVT LIMITED, established another production facility to cater the industrial need of the clients. In the year 2007 the fourth manufacturing facility with the latest generation machines was established in Sitarganj, Uttaranchal.

During 2009 a new state of the art R & D facility was developed, with latest generation equipment & modern facilities. During this period the largest production unit came up at Chandpur, Faridabad. Now they are the renowned name for spray nozzle, atomizer, homogenizer, centrifuges, cream separators, packing machine, blow through valve, diversion valve, high pressure pump, centrifugal pumps, axial flow, gear pump, ss pipes & fittings 

Due to the increasing demand from the Coffee Industry, SSP PVT LIMITED, as part of the new product development initiative, developed a Freeze Dryer recently.

2009 R&D Centre shifted to unit-1. Unit-1 shifted to Chandpur. 
New Corporate office constructed. G.D. Machines merged with SSP.
2007 4th production unit with latest generation manufacturing equipments was established in Sitarganj, India
2004 3rd production unit was established in Noida, India in an export processing zone.
1999, 2000-03 Award for ‘Highest Export Performance’ among the SSI exports in food processing by the Engineering Export Promotion Council - “EEPC”
2002 ISO 9001-2000 Certification obtained.
1998 Manufactured & Supplied first Zero Liquid Discharge Effluent Treatment Plant to Morepen Laboratories , Parwanoo
