Conveyor Systems:
The wheels are set in motion with a site visit from experienced sales and technical staff to get a feel for what would be required, followed up by a detailed quotation (more site visits may be required). Upon receipt of an order the conveyor system itself would then be fully designed by Advance, fully manufactured by Advance at our premises in County Durham and then fully mechanically and electrically installed by experienced site engineers at the most convenient times for the customer.
We now have 4 lines running with Advance Automated Systems (AAS) conveyors and bespoke equipment all using Allan Bradley PLC and installed over a 4 year period. To date we have had no issues with maintenance or breakdown with the hardware or software.Partnering with AAS has proven to be a good “Win Win” experience where we have achieved and exceeded timelines on budget by working closely together, collaborating strongly and honestly (even if the news is hard to take/deliver) and working as part of the same team.In Summary: AAS is one of the strongest Vendors I have worked with in their field, with real commitment from Sales through Engineering Management to the Technicians on the factory floor, Documentation is sustainable and build quality has a real attention to detail. In my mind the AAS equipment is part of the high quality equipment lines that we demand and run 24/7 in a Medical Device manufacturing facility!.
