Tri Lobe Blowers:

Advantages:
 
The Tri-Lobe Blower, because of having rotor tips disposed at 120º on each rotor, causes the rotor set to be much more resistant to angular deflection along it`s length, than two lobed rotor sets, which have lobe tips disposed at 180º each - this extra "stiffness" provides less deflection at any load, thus minimizing possible rotor contact with both the cylinder and it`s sister rotor during operation.

This same tip orientation provides for more even load distribution between the rotor and gear sets, while under normal load cycling - this feature enhances the life of the bearings and gears - the six smaller volume chambers per revolution of the Tri-Lobe vs. four larger chambers of the two lobe, increases the pulsation frequency, allowing pulsation magnitude to be limited, and reducing characteristic noise levels.
Oil Preventive Arrangement Due to efficient & improved oil prevention arrangement, gas or air is delivered uncontaminated; oil free state unaffected by high temperatures. No shaft wear.
Splash oil lubrication Assures improved bearing life and operational simplicity.
Tri-Lobe rotors Involute contoured impeller profiles for maximum efficiency.

The new tri-lobe blower incorporates two special profile rotors in custom designed cylinder housing. The rotor/housing design drastically reduces pulsations and sound pressure levels.Operating noise levels and strain on distribution piping are dramatically lower than two-lobe configurations. Low Noise Pressure pulses are the major noise source of blower. In tri lobe blowers, accurately designed lobes result in smooth flow of fluid and can efficiently reduce the sound pressure level by approximately 5dB.
Longer Bearing Life Bearing life of the lobe blowers are highly affected by the vibrations. In tri lobe blowers, lower pressure pulses and smooth flow result in reduced vibration and hence longer life. Bearing life of tri lobe blowers is increased by approximately by 20%.

Design

The unique of the DRY-HIGH VACUUM PUMP (Positive Displacement Type) is capable of attaining 28” Hg vacuum & eliminates the need for water or oil sealing. The 3HVP Series pumps do not require Heat Exchanges & are suitable for inlet temperatures without use of Pre coolers are tri lobe rotor blower. 

Heavy - Duty Construction

The Kay DRY-HIGH, VACCUUM PUMP is a positive displacement pump with two Tri-Lobes rotor that are fitted with a set of these lobes to one another & maintain small but definite clearances that are perfect for industrial use. The 3HVP Series pump are designed for 24 hour (continuous) duty operation & have a self-cooing construction & does not require a Vacuum Relief Valve. These pumps of Kay blowers India are capable with handling Wet or Dry products & are available with top, Bottom, Left or Right Shaft & a clockwise or Anti-clockwise rotation for adaptation as immediate replacement for existing units.
